In support of the hunger strikers, a group of students and activists have occupied the UFO building of UGent on 5th July. Due to the urgent situation in Brussels, the UGent occupation remains in place to sensitize the Flemish society on the topic of regularisation.
We invite you this weekend to the biking demonstration to show solidarity and learn more about the hunger strikers and their ongoing struggle.
Starting point: Gent Sint-Pieters (near Maria Hendrikaplein), 14h.
Ending point: the UGent occupation at UFO where you can visit the occupation and have a talk with the activists.

Een groep studenten en activisten bezetten sinds 5 juli het UFO gebouw van de UGent, in steun met de hongerstrakers in Brussel. Gezien de urgentie van de situatie in Brussel blijft de UGent bezetting doorgaan om de Vlaamse burgers te sensibiliseren rond het thema van regularisatie, en om politieke druk uit te oefenen op bevoegde ministers.
Wij nodigen jullie deze zaterdag 17 juli om 14u uit, voor een fietsmanifestatie om solidariteit te betuigen voor, en meer te weten te komen over de hongerstakers en hun voortdurende strijd.
Startpunt: Gent Sint-Pieters (aan Maria Hendrikaplein), 14u.
Eindpunt: de Ugent occupatie aan het UFO, waar je de bezetting kan bezoeken en kan praten met de activisten.
