The ETUI is hosting an online OSH seminar on the recognition of Covid-19 as occupational disease and the related consequences.
There has been numerous Covid-19 outbreaks and infections at workplaces across sectors, and it has become evident that many workers are not sufficiently protected against exposure to the virus. There are many questions to explore, such as: What happens when a worker is infected at the workplace? What is the process of investigation of causes? What are the rights of the worker regarding treatment and compensation? What are the procedures for the recognition of Covid-19 as occupational disease?
